Focal Length Test (2022)

A series of test photos taken in the Brunel University Campus Quad at different distances with several focal length options of lenses in preparation for Turtle Shell (2022). This was done to familiarize myself with the different focal lengths in practical use, to anticipate and plan proper usage in confined filming spaces, and lastly, to compare the unique perspective each focal length gives to the subject and its surroundings.

The focal lenghts tested are 14mm (Samyang), 28mm, 35mm, 50mm and 85mm (Sony), using a full-frame Sony A7r3 mirrorless camera.
